Today's excursion starts
towards the village of Santa Giusta and past the large coastal lagoon of the
same name, home to the famous pink flamingos. From the bus you will see
the Roman Bridge of Othoca and the magnificent Basilica of Santa Giusta, which
you will visit briefly. Continuing your journey, you will cross rural
areas lying at the foot of the Montiferru mountain range and reach Putzu Idu,
the northernmost part of the Sinis Peninsula. Here you have ample
opportunity for swimming and sunbathing. On your way back you will
experience the varied vegetation of Sardinia again. Return to the hotel
for lunch.
